AutoCAD Drawing Course 2 – Detailed Description
This level two, Advanced, 2D AutoCAD course begins with an exploration of advanced dimensioning and annotation techniques to create multiple details from a single drawing. Students will learn how to manage views, layers, and annotation scales to automatically generate large scale, AutoCAD drawing details.
The next series of classes in our Advanced 2D AutoCAD drawing course will teach students how to use hatching, color fills and gradient fills to create a presentation style AutoCAD drawing and a working style AutoCAD drawing from a single file.
Advanced layer techniques will be mastered that allow students to quickly apply and restore styles to display a single AutoCAD Drawing for a variety of different uses. Tools for creating tables to add door and window schedules to an AutoCAD drawing will also be covered.
One of the most useful productivity tools to use in an AutoCAD drawing is the ability to add predrawn symbols. Students will learn to create custom symbols or and symbol libraries and quickly develop a detailed, AutoCAD drawing from their predefined content.
The final project in the the advanced 2d course covers the development of a large project requiring the creation of several separate layouts which are used to create an AutoCAD Drawing set comprised of working drawings, presentation drawings, and custom views in a single, AutoCAD Drawing file.

AutoCAD Drawing Course 2 – Support and Evaluation
Basic and Premium Support and evaluations are available for this course.
Both of the review packages we offer allow for grading of your assignments, and a course transcript letter with an official grade for the course.
With the Basic Review package, you will go through all 12 lessons for a course, using the video demos and course handbook to guide you. You will create 4 assignment drawings which will be sent to your instructor in a one-time submission at the end of the course. The assignments will be reviewed, redlined, graded, and returned to you along with a PDF version of your transcript letter within 24 hours.
With the Premium Support package you receive up to 90 days of email assistance with your own instructor, allowing you to ask questions while you go through the lessons. Assignments are submitted one at a time as you go through the course instead of in a single submission at the end. In addition, if an assignment is not perfect on the first try, your instructor will send you a detailed email indicating what is wrong and how to fix it. After making the necessary revisions, you can submit the assignment for a second review. This process can be repeated one more time allowing for up to three reviews of each assignment. Premium students usually finish the course with a perfect grade and more importantly, a perfect set of drawings to add to their portfolio.
When you are going through the Premium Certificate Program, you will be in constant contact and communication with your instructor via email. At the end of each course, an official school transcript letter is sent to you in PDF format. This contains the course and student details along with your grade for the course in both percentage and letter format. When you have finished all four levels of AutoCAD courses, your Master of AutoCAD Certificate is prepared and shipped to you along with hard copies of all four transcript letters.
