About CADDTrain & Kevin Brown
Over the past few years, Kevin and his team of instructors have delivered over sixteen thousand CAD courses to students from all walks of life and a variety of educational backgrounds.
With a background in Architecture as well as training in Mechanical Design and Interior Design, Kevin has made a career of teaching students how to communicate their designs in both two and three dimensions with the industry leading CAD software, AutoCAD.
In addition to his skills with Autodesk's flagship software, Kevin is well versed with a host of Autodesk's most popular and powerful vertical applications and has developed and taught courses in AutoCAD Architecture, Inventor, Revit Architecture, and 3DS Max.
Technical Requirements
- Windows-based personal computer with DVD drive and internet access.
- Macintosh computers will work if they have a Windows operating system installed via the Mac BootCamp utility.
- Minimum 2 gig of RAM for 2D courses and 3 gig of RAM for 3D modeling courses.
- Access to a recent version of the software for the course being taken. A wide variety of Autodesk Student software is available for FREE download to all students who register in the CADDTrain training program and sign up for a Basic or Premium Evaluation. Free software includes AutoCAD 2010 and 2011, AutoCAD Architecture 2010 and 2011, Revit Architecture 2010 and 2011 as well as many others.
- A special link will be sent to all students who purchase one or more courses including either a Basic Evaluation or the Premium Support Evaluation. This link will identify the customer as a valid student in a recognized CAD Certificate training program, allowing them to register at the Autodesk Student Engineering & Design Community website where they can download up to 25 different software packages from the Autodesk Library for absolutely FREE!
